Dynamic young supervisor looking to enter TV/Film industry - JHB

Young, white (I am mentioning this as most positions these days are BEE/AA:D) 22 year old female, started in retail store when matriculated in 2003 and worked herself up from their to head office as a clerk, until eventually she was put in charge of her own department. Have wanted to be in TV/Film industry since highschool - in front and behind the cameras. Looking to be creative in an industry that is based solely on creating something new, be it a world, a character, a product...:;)

Have been playing around with web design, clipping and editing videos and have written a fanfic ( 2 more chapters to go until it is done, another in the pipeline) all in an effort to be more creative....

I have always had a passion for being involved in the film and television industry, so it's only natural that I would like to make a career in it. For the last 4 months I have been working on a business programme, Africa Report, for CNBC Europe as a production assistant (working closely with journalists, editors, research and cameramen). I have also recently been rather involved in local theatre productions ("Little Women" and presently "Something Old, Something New") to gain even more experience about the world of production. I would like to pursue jobs ideally as a production assistant or researcher. I am really interested in working on both music videos and documentaries. This candidate has been working as an office manager in a production comapny for approximately 3 years. She has done freelance reseach for a production company that intends to develop a script for a feaure film about the Xhosa people in the Eastern Cape. She has also done freelance production managing for a PSA for the Vuka Awards MNET production.
